Thanks for visiting/commenting on my blog! I'm sorry I don't have anything as interesting as nose-picking to offer, but then, that's one of those things that us high-society types never do; we hire people to do it for us. Or something.
I just love the sociological implications of this- what would it take for someone, when asked about their interests, to think, "hmmm, lessee here, stamp collecting, throwing darts, and OH YES, I LOVE PICKING MY NOSE!".
Additionally, consider the fact that this was not a one-off occurrence.
nope, sarah, i think he LOOKS for it! oldhall: as i read thru your blog...i'm trying to figure your intent. i surmise you love food! (now if you said that to me, i'd be offended, tho 'tis some true, somewhat a complete lie: i think i have a love/hate relationship w/ food) but it IS obvious since you so completely describe your food and all about it's consumption, preparation, etc. very interesting. if so, man, i thought you might have named your blog differently.
but, as i've said to your wife, i'm new to this, so, wonder, if i went back to your first post, would you describe your intentions?
other than that, it seems to me you love to be funny and you love to put in funny, sometimes inconsequential, sometimes appropriate pics! is your field mathematics, chemistry, or computers?
how is your back? did you have surgery? ARE you back to work? are you still sleeping sitting up in a chair?
ah well..i'll probe further in your archives! =) God Bless you and your pb&j today. I'll be praying you don't break any teeth...maybe it's time for a change! esp after reading about 'rat poo'!
yes, it is about food. i just went back to the beginning of your blog and yep, it's been about FOOD all along. i guess there's something refreshing about someone who really speaks his mind...or his stomach. well! do you really love writing about it or are you on a journey to record your food for a yr or some such thing? whassup? kt
As my High School German teacher, Mr. Stephans, once said, "you asked a serious question, I'll give you a serious answer"
I used to enjoy the creativity associated with writing, although I never enjoyed the criticism inherent in school-age writing. So, this is a simply a chance to re-kindle some of those creative juices (wait-a-minute, wouldn't juices EXTINGUISH, not re-kindle? watch dem mixed metaphors!)
I am a physicist by education, I'm glad I did it, I couldn't do it now!
My back feels fine now, I didn't need surgery, I just have to be gentle now, and not do anything that might re-pinch the nerve (like... boxing)

What I'm wondering is... Whatever made you look for such a thing?! Or did you happen upon it accidentally?
